Raising expectations and abilities for children with complex health
We Believe All Students:
Are children first and have the right to build meaningful relationships
and have access to enjoyable activities.
Communicate and the role of the team is to facilitate an individualized
communication system that provides choice, control and preferences.
Have a right to high quality instruction provided by dedicated professionals
working together as a team.
Have the right to be supported by team members who foster an environment
that provides safety, security, dignity and respect.
By March 2006, the students will communicate and participate in a
full school day.
By March 2010, a model program will be in place that provides high
quality instruction, close integration between home and school and facilitates
maximum participation of all students
The REACH Program mission is to: provide a high quality educational program
that maximizes potential for students with complex medical needs who live
in residential settings. Dedicated and qualified team members provide
a safe and enjoyable learning environment that emphasizes communication
development and active learning. The REACH program strives to develop
meaningful connections with families and communities.
